I would like to display a gallery using alternating colors for every other row in a joomgallery. I am not sure how to configure this so it happen. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can change colors using CSS. But keep in mind that elements may change position depending on the display width.
If you need detailed help, please tell us what color you mean:
Fontcolor, Bordercolor, Backgroundcolor, Imagecolor,...?

Since you are using the BootOne-Layout, you can apply it by adding
Code.jg_row.jg_row2 { background-color: #eee; }to the CSS in the CSS-Manager of JoomGallery or to your custom.css of your template.
