    no, this is not a bug but intended.

    In JoomGallery exist three image sizes: thumbnail, detail image and (optional) the original image.

    If you delete the original image, it can no longer be displayed, logically or? ;)

    I personally would delete the original images only if there is no more space on the server.

    But there is the possibility to show the detail image, instead of the original image. :)

    The whole applies to calling up the Pop-up box from the category view.

    See Category View >> General Settings >> Popup box original image

    in the Configuration Manager.

    PS: Copying files manually is generally not recommended.

  • Routing to image detail adds extra level for image category

    Hi,

    the problem are the additional menu entries for the individual categories (category view). If you move within the gallery, the menu alias remains in the URL.

    Unfortunately, I don't know of a simple solution to the problem.

    What you could do: Change the menu entries for the individual categories from 'JoomGallery >> Category view' to the menu item type 'System Links >> URL'. There you can enter the URL for the respective category as a link. Then the additional alias no longer appears in the URL, only the one from the JoomGallery Category.

  • Migrating from non conventional CMS

    what exactly is a 'alien cms'? :/

    The big question is how the information is stored in this old system?

    Is the data in database tables for categories and images as in the JoomGallery?

    There are already migration scripts for migrating from other galleries, e.g. Coppermine or 4images, see https://www.en.joomgalleryfriends.net/downloads/cate…on-scripts.html

    With a very large gallery you could create a new script for the migration.

    Another possibility is to use the import script from fruwolt. You can find it here: https://github.com/fruwolt/csv2joom-dev

    This also allows a larger number of images and categories to be imported and provided with the desired information via a csv file.

  • JoomCategories Site Modul 3.0.1 zu 3.0.2 Aktualisierung Fehlerhaft

    Hallo,

    ja, leider gibt es ein Problem wenn das Update über den Update-Mechanismus von Joomla gestartet wird (Erweiterungen >> Verwalten >> Aktualisieren).

    Die beiden folgenden Methoden funktionieren aber weiterhin:

    1. Hochladen der Zip-Datei über Erweiterungen >> Verwalten >> Installieren

    oder

    2. Start des Updates über 'Auto-Update starten' im Kontrollzentrum der JoomGallery.

    Lösche die Zeile 193 der Datei modules/mod_joomcat/helper.php, also diese Zeile:

    ->group('ca.cid DESC');

    und füge dafür diese beiden Zeilen ein:

    Code
    ->group('ca.cid')
->order('ca.cid DESC');

    Funktioniert es dann?

    Das ist natürlich eine wichtige Information die bisher gefehlt hat :(

    Hier ist kein Override möglich, das geht nur über eine (unschöne) Änderung der Original-Dateien.

    Füge in der Datei components/com_joomgallery/interface.php in die beiden folgenden Zeilen am Anfang zwei Slahes ein. Damit ist die Zeile auskommentiert und zeigt keine Wirkung.

    Zeile 375:

    // $link .= '" title="'.$title;

    Zeile 479:

    // $link .= '" title="'.$title;

    das kannst du mit einem Template-Override erreichen.

    Um den Tooltip in der Detailansicht zu entfernen, erstelle ein Override der Datei components/com_joomgallery/views/detail/tmpl/default.php.

    Ändere im Override dann die Zeile 19 von

    <a <?php echo $this->image->atagtitle; ?> href="<?php echo $this->image->link; ?>">

    nach

    <a href="<?php echo $this->image->link; ?>">

    Dann sollte der Tooltip nicht mehr erscheinen.

  • Joomgallerie und 360 Grad

    Hallo,

    die JoomGallery unterstützt nur die Standard-Bildtypen jpeg, png und gif.

    Für die Darstellung eines 360 Grad Bildes benötigt man eine spezielle Erweiterung. Vielleicht findest im JED dazu etwas.

    Falls es ein Modul für die Anzeige von 360-Grad-Bildern gibt, könntest du es dann an einer Modulposition innerhalb der JoomGallery anzeigen lassen.

    this is the image description that appears in the category view, if activated in the JoomGallery configuration.

    The text 'description' is stored in the respective language file.

    A change is possible with the help of the Joomla 'language override'. To do this, you would have to change the language constant COM_JOOMGALLERY_COMMON_DESCRIPTION_VAR. The default is "Description: %s". Please note that '%s' must be preserved.

  • Sprache von en-GB nach de-DE umstellen

    Stimmt, für de-DE und de-CH gibt es in Joomla unterschiedliche Sprachdateien.

    Soweit ich gesehen habe, ist der einzige Unterschied das 'ß' in der de-DE gegenüber dem 'ss' in der de-CH.

    Bislang hat noch niemand nach angepassten Sprachdateien für de-CH oder z.B. de-AT gefragt. :/

    die JoomGallery übernimmt die in Joomla eingestellte Sprache.

    Um die Sprache zu ändern musst du unter Erweiterungen >> Sprachen sowohl für das Frontend als auch für das Backend 'Deutsch' als Default auswählen.
