    Thank you for the answer.
    Indeed with a root link the link for user categories works.

    However, this does not restrict access to a user to his category and only his one.


    And using the joomla ACL by creating a user group for each user is too restrictive for this project.

    I would like to allow people to access only one or more galleries concerning them to view photos and allow them to download the original photos, without seeing the other gallery or category.


    For that I would like to use the joomla identification system.
