Hello! I use the "Watermark" function. I have a watermark in the form of a PNG image. Everything was fine in the JoomGallery version. But in the JoomGallery 3.6 version, the watermark started to display incorrectly (with a black background). I would be grateful if you solve this problem. Sincerely, Denis.

Hi,
I use GD Library. Unfortunately, I have a virtual hosting, I can't use ImageMagick. There are no errors in the console. The error is clearly in JoomGallery, because in previous versions everything was fine. If you upgrade to JoomGallery 3.5, then everything is fine again. For reference, I have a 5000x5000 watermark. Maybe this is the reason? But again, in previous versions everything was FINE! I use Joomla! 3.10.11. In other versions of Joomla! the same error if I use JoomGallery 3.6.

Please send me your watermark file or attach it to a post here.
Then I would try to analyse the problem.

I have a 5000x5000 watermark...
5000px for a watermark file seems too big to me.
For testing I have reduced your file to 1000px.
The result seems so good.
Try it out with the watermark file in the attachment.

MrMusic, thank you! But I am interested in the resolution of the watermark 5000x5000 pixels, because many of the images I have over 2000 pixels and I want to use a watermark of universal size. After all, in previous versions of JoomGallery everything worked well. But in general, I found another solution, namely, uploading photos to the server with a watermark already applied, which I do in JoomGallery 3.5 on a local server

This is not necessary.
JoomGallery can adjust the size of the watermark dyamically to the size of the image. To do this, you can adjust the percentage in the configuration. In my screenshot above you can see your watermark adjusted to a size of 100%.

Then the watermark is permanently included in the image file and can no longer be changed or removed.

If the watermark is larger than the image, then everything works fine. But it happens that the size of the images is larger than the watermark. And then the watermark does not cover the entire area of the image.

I agree, but it suits me so. Also, in this case, direct links to the original images are displayed with a watermark, which is very important to me.
