I initially installed version 4.2, then 4.3 on top of it.
I just uninstalled 4.3.
I reinstalled it, and indeed, I don't have the "Create Category" link, but I do have the "User Panel" link, and there I can create a category.
Then I uninstalled 4.3 and reinstalled 4.2, and now I have the "Create Category" link again, but not the "User Panel."
Then, as before, I installed 4.3 on top of it, and now I have "Create Category" and "User Panel," but with errors.

Hello,
Yes, I know that this option is no longer available.
I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling everything.
Here's what I've done:
- I had JoomGallery version 4.2.0 and indeed, I didn't have the option to create categories via the front end.
- I installed version 4.3 (RC1) over it, and now I have this.

Hello,
On Joomla 6, I just tested JoomGallery version 4.3 (RC1).
I created a menu link in the "Create Category" via the backend.
Once I click on the link in the frontend,
I get a series of errors:

Call Stack
(!) Warning: Attempt to read property "key" on null in E:\wamp64\www\lcascenery\libraries\src\Component\Router\Rules\StandardRules.php on line…

Hello
Thank you for your replies.
I understand the meaning of freeware and the commitment required to make everyone happy.
We have a networked flight simulation community using JoomGallery 3. All members upload photos via the front end, with general satisfaction.
However, we need to migrate to PHP 8, Joomla 6, and of course JoomGallery 4, ideally with all the features of version 3, especially uploading via the front end.
Based on my knowledge and skills, I will join your group.
Thank you…

Thank you for your reply.
Do you have a planned release date for the new version?
I'll check the links.
Thanks again.

Hello,
On Joomgallery 4.2, the frontend transfer function no longer seems to be available.
Is this true?
I used it a lot on JG3; is this feature planned for a future version?
Thank you, Jean Pierre

Hello everyone.
I have a Joomla 3 website running on Joomla! Gallery 3 that works perfectly with PHP 7.
My hosting provider is asking me to upgrade to PHP 8.
I plan to rebuild the entire site locally, using WampServer and Joomla! 5.4, and then upload it to the live site.
When I try to migrate the data from the online Joomla! Gallery 3 to Joomla! Gallery 4 on localhost using WampServer, I get a message saying "The specified Joomla! path does not exist."
My questions are:
- Is it possible to…
